If you’re not familiar with Bloom, it is our five-day-a-week, year-round program that incorporates Applied Behavior Analysis, occupational therapy (OT), and speech-language therapy throughout a child’s day. It is a tuition-based program for children on the autism spectrum between the ages of three and five who are ready to work on group learning and transition skills.
We first launched Bloom in 2014 serving about 10 children a year. This August, we were able to add an additional class to Bloom, allowing 12 more children entrance into the program! On top of that, thanks to our scholarship fund supported by the annual Angling Against Autism event, we have been able to provide a total of $28,000 to 16 families in Bloom this year!
